Unfair Dismissal
An unfair dismissal is generally when an employer terminates an employee’s contract either wrongfully, by force or in a manner that is otherwise unreasonable. Such terminations of employees’ contracts are usually without a valid reason.
You might be unfairly dismissed by your employer if:
- You did not receive a warning before the termination.
- You were not given an opportunity to respond to a warning given to you by your employer
- You have been otherwise terminated in a way that you think is against the terms of the contract of your employment.
If you think any of the above situations applies to your dismissal, contact one of our highly experienced employment lawyers today to seek specialist advice.
